SSCS, Shopping

All wrapped and ready for ...... in ......These were mailed this morning. They have a long way to go to get to their destination.

So that's one swap down and one more to go, still have a few things to finish stitching for the next swap, but they don't have to be mailed until next weekend.

I did a little shopping yesterday, nothing from the usual Black Friday shopping madness, just a couple of pieces of fabrics for current projects.
These four pieces will be used for cushion covers for Jenna, although I doubt that I'll get them done in time for this year, but will make them up regardless and mail them to her once they are done. These three pieces will be made into an apron for Miss Hollie as part of her Christmas parcel.
This pretty parcel arrived in my mail box today from Kim at Honeysuckle Cottage. I've been hanging out for these to arrive so I can complete my Christmas stitching. Pretty Ric rac, which is so hard to find by the yard here in 100% cotton.

Kim also included a lovely piece of fabric and a pattern for a Quilter's Roll n Go. Hopefully if I can find the time in the next few weeks I'll stitch that up. I think it would make a lovely gift for a quilter/stitcher.

Happy Stitching, and thank for you stopping by and visiting with me, I do appreciate each and every comment.

Hi Linda,
Your SSCS will be so pleased, your work is always so gorgeous. I don't know what it is, but I feel so good when I can check off on that list...
The Christmas fabric is really cute.

100% cotton jumbo ric rac is hard to find in australia too.. Moda used to make one years ago.. there is a website in the US that sell lots of trimmings, I buy my tape measure cotton tape from them and a few other things.. I dont have it book marked but if you like, I can find out who they are.. and they are CHEAP... they sell a heap of 100% cotton trimmings... you can buy the yard or the roll..

You are doing well with your Christmas crafting Linda! I have sadly not started ... left it a bit late now I think. It was the holiday that did it! :)
