A Clean Start To The New Year

Happy New Year everyone, I hope this year is filled with all that you desire. I didn't have time to clean that horrible mess I showed you in my sewing room before we went away, so it was waiting for me once we returned.
Ahh a nice clean floor, I can once again see the carpet.
The cutting table now has space to actually work on.

The bed has been cleared of all that mess that covered it last week.

All ready for me to make a new mess. While I was cleaning I sorted through a couple of ufo's and decided that two need to be finished straight away. So hopefully I'll have some progress to show you soon.
On a completely different note, I've been asked by a number of people if I have a faith based blog, as of today I now do. If your interested you'll find it here. You won't find any mention of threads or fabrics on it, only words of encouragement and faith.
Happy Stitching.

The room looks wonderful! It will be so pleasant to sew in such a pretty, tidy space. I presume you agree, since you went to the trouble to do this. I just don't understand the people who say they can't create if their room is too neat.

Happy New Year Linda! Doesn't it feel wonderful to have a nice clean sewing room? I've spent the last several days cleaning mine too, and like you have unearthed several UFOs that need attention. Here's to hoping 2009 will be very productive!
